    It seems this thread was about the announcer, not the flagman. Just so we can have another discusson about the flagman without everyone sifting through the announcer post. I really want to hear everyones opinion regarding the flagman and how it was handled. :up:

    I think Rich did a great job during the 2nd half of the day.

    Starting is one of those jobs that good starters make look easy.

    I would hate to try and do it, 'cause I know just how hard it really is. You need to be on top of your game every lap of every race with hardly any chance for a break. Really it's more than that too, with practice and keeping track of the minute boards.

    I think we're pretty lucky in my region to have Al, Dan, Don, Rich and Rodger when needed.
