Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked: 'What do you feel.....when you shoot a Terrorist?'

The Marine shrugged and replied, 'A slight recoil.

Similar interview just on another network. same question with the same response. this was about 6 months ago or so.

That line is a known cliche throughout the military community...total BS.

 

None of the few snipers I know would ever say anything like that in an interview because they don't make light of what they do.

But to a non sniper like me it's funny.
