early 2006 myself and three friends made a trip to Barber for a Nesba track day. on the list of things we were looking forward besides the track, the museum and my porn collection was a chance to see Mark and get some help from him with some fiberglass repair. if you've seen the video you know the joke.

so we meet mark and tell him we watched his Roadrace DVD. he gets the joke and asks if we wanted a refund. funny fucker.

get well, Mark. you're in our prayers.

I didnt even see the sticky till now... Becuase usually Mongo only stickies things about Food or Wera events...


Get well, Mark, oddly enough i got into this whole motorcycle scene from laughing my ass off at the first roadrace dvd... soooo, its sort of hits home for me in a way... Everyone take a second to thank their guardian Angel... mine works over time and weekends for sure.

Godspeed, buddy... but you're gonna need ALOT of bondo... Heal up quick...

I just noticed this sticky and just read all posts pertaining to this thread. I'm shell shocked, speechless! Mark buddy...I hope all goes well with your surgery's and physical therapy. I wasn't suprised a bit by how Todd explained how you were talking in your phone call with him. Anytime I have spoke with you or read a post, or heard anything about MarkB...it was always good. You have always seem to me be an upbeat person, and I don't expect that that to change. Prayers sent for ya brother...and I know a lot of prayers that come from this gigantic family we have here...do get answered. We all know that to be true! So get some rest, let your body heal, and get well soon. Oh yeah tell Sam to get her typing skills ready so we can hear more goofy replies from you!:up:

Just got back from UAB visiting Mark. His parents, Sister and Sam are here and they were able to get in a townhome that UAB has for family members. So that is good they don't have to stay in a hotel. Todd and Lee came over to get his bike and gear.
Mark had just gotten out of surgery for his arm when we got there. He was incredibly alert and coherent (sp?) for someone that just got out of surgery. He is pretty bruised up, but is in very good spirits. His parents told me that the surgery for his back is tomorrow and they will know more then.

Everyone keep thinking of Mark and his family and keep praying.

Hopefully there will be good news tomorrow.

Thanks for the update F4 SCOTT. I have not quit thinking about this all day. We all know the risks in this deal but it always sucks that much worse when it's this close to home. We are all with you Mark B!

 

I've given Mark a wrath of sh@t in the past here on the BBS. I just wanted him to know I meant damn near all of it and the moment he comes back on here, I'll give him more.
