Fun ideas in Atlanta for my sister???

Got my kid sister (well, shes 30) coming to stay the weekend in ATL. She had thought she was coming to a wedding with me, but that was last weekend - she got confused with the dates. (I think she wanted to meet some single Southern men...but hey...)

Anyway, I need to be out of the house this weekend. Any ideas???

My current plan is to take her to Road Atlanta for the Petit Lemans on Saturday (my birthday btw), then out maybe in Buckhead??? Then at 4pm on Sunday the Falcons are playing......

but thats all I got. And since neither of us really dig cars OR football, I thought I would turn to "THE KNOWLEDGE" - ie the BBS.

Any ideas????

Check Creative Loafing to see what shows are going on. I know there is a show at Variety Playhouse Sunday evening. It's a fundraiser for Katrina relief.

Depends on what she is into. There is a lot of stuff to choose from.

 

Take her to the Nascar race at Talladega this weekend.
She will definitely see some rednecks there.
