Mercedes Benz ditches plan to sell only EVs by 2030

"Mercedes-Benz said in 2021 it planned to be all-electric by 2030.....In its fourth quarter statement released Thursday, the company said it would allow customers' demands to "set the pace" for how much of its fleet will be electric or gas. And, as of Thursday's release, it expects its overall EV sales to reach just 50% by the time 2030 rolls around.."

On a side note...I did a little deeper dive into that Biotech @HPPT posted about a couple moths ago, NKTX....and long story short I'm up almost 18% on it now. So I cant say anything bad about the French for at least the next 8min.

I am hoping we get some good news from their expanded phase I trial soon. They just posted about presenting at some investor conferences over the next few weeks. Seems most people think the NK route for therapy was hitting a dead end and abandoned it and that's why they dropped to $1-2/share. But they way have something worthwhile in the pipeline.

 

The fact that crypto is gaining traction again makes me more nervous for the overall market than anything else going on
