my boss is 100% sober but smokes cigars, he's pretty cool but it's hard to hide drinking a bottle of rum while your working, the fucked up thing is he said he didn't know I was drinking

 

I thought I was a pro...3 bottles in 3 days? I'm merely a hobbyist...

Family business eventually got tired of my shit. As did wife #1.
Got sober life is super.
Have a lot of family members who drink just as much but keep jobs,families etc...How much is not quite as important as why you drink and what it does to you.
Good luck in any case, liquor can be friend or foe and it ain't always east to tell the difference.

started sober October early in September went all into December. had a few drinks (mostly post breakfast pina coladas and dinner tequilas) during our all-inclusive Cancun trip before Christmas, some red wine Christmas eve, glass of champagne on nye.

dry Jan going strong into February.

somewhat proud of myself and really enjoying life. alcohol is a thief.

Been trying to get sober. It's been a journey over the last 3 years where I have months at a time. Feel better, do better, but their I is that warm feeling of a double rum and coke that can't be replaced in my head
