Has anyone used the cheaper china silicone rad hoses with any luck?
I am looking for a couple kits for the SV Endurace bikes.

Never used Samco but I have no complaints. For some reason there's a slight coolant smell when the bike is parked after a ride but there's no leak. Nothing missing from radiator/reservoir. It's the only thing notable.

Why screw around with components as important as coolant hoses. Buy the name brand for the extra cost and have a quality product. Go ahead and ask WeSuk Hose and Wonton House a technical question. Let us know how that goes.

I've looked at reviews on these cheap silicone hose options and they're cheap for a reason. They use fewer layers, the quality control is basically non-existent apparently. I don't think they're really worth dealing with honestly.

That being said I've used Samco and AS3, both were really good and very comparable in terms of thickness/layer count, quality, fitment etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use either.

I am going to give the AS3 hoses a try.

I get that and I have Samco on both bikes.

Same here, the last bike I had always had that smell but zero leaks.

Same here, non glycol coolant so it shouldn’t even smell with a leak, but I guess the samco hoses hold the glycol sweetness.

I put Mylers Siliy hoses (65$) on the KDX, holding up great so far.
