The breakup was developed for a long time, and made sense in context of the plot and the characters. Kim is a co-main character with Jimmy, this won’t be the last we see of her. They’ll use her for the denouement of Jimmy’s story for sure. Eladio is such a dick. Can’t help but like him. I laughed my ass off at that scene. The facial expressions while he was making fun of the bell really sold it.
Last night was the 1st time I had to fast forward. For sure a time waster. I assume it's leading up to something.
The last 6 fkn seasons have been flies, with the notable exception of a few Mike centric episodes. Yet every Monday night, there I am just like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football. They can do better. This bullshit is just a cash grab, like you said earlier in the thread.
Trudat. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. I just know that the showrunners are capable of much better. It's sad to see the opportunity squandered so horribly.
This episode was huge in terms of characterization and setting up the denouement of the entire Breaking Bad universe. Gene is going back to being Jimmy, and isn’t going to be living quietly making Cinnabons for much longer. I expect Kim will be reintroduced in the next 1 or 2 episodes. We saw the death of Jimmy and the true birth of Saul Goodman in the previous episode, now this is the death of Gene and rebirth of Jimmy. Jeff is also obviously going to play a role going forward. Maybe Jimmy will rope him and his friend into whatever scheme ends the series. If you don’t like character development, I know a filmmaker who’s right up your alley.
We've had 6 seasons of ""character development"" and ""setting up future episodes"" and ""whatever other excuses fanbois want to come up with for boring ass television"". Not every episode has to be about blowing shit up. But a 3 minute 17 second montage of a guy with a 70s porno moustache stopwatching an obese old dude eating a cinnamon roll is not entertaining to me. YMMV.
I was reading an article (and gave up), I think it was the Guardian where they were saying that BCS was better than BB. Wot?!... I gave up after S5Ep2, it was just getting too awful.
Meh... I think I might've grazed the ball with my pinky toe. I think it sqibbed over to the sidelines and hit Dave Campo in the shoulder... I'm not really good at matching actors' faces and names... But I think I recognized one of the the guys in the 'Mark' montage, and I really think I recognize the cancer Mark actor, but I have no idea who it is. Anyone?
