This is over in pretty wooded lands, in between the I5 and the Oregon coast. Fire's a big deal out here, especially after all the loss in the 2020 fires that went through central and other parts of Oregon. Would be ironic if the arsonist died in a fire... Yep. Where I’m at, good chance he would have had more issues than falling down some stairs. I have a friend who lives in an even more forested area with one road of entry and access. The neighbors will put your fire out if it’s an open air, wood fire.
That last sentence in the link says all ya need to know to sentence this guy. This is a story I wanna hear the future end of.
Especially after the large fires 2 years ago. They jumped on this one hard, several helicopters and ground crew. Burned about an acre each.
Pity they didn’t put him on the front line of the fire, wearing a Speedo and armed with a squirt gun.
