Great series thus far. For the Yellowstone followers, this honestly is way better. Hopefully the writing doesn't fall off as much. So first question: By the end of the 19th century, I really thought that much of smallpox and cholera had been eradicated. Since it started in the eastern civilization, wouldn't the majority of people know to boil water?
I just saw the advert for it today. Tried to get into Yellowstone, too soap opera for me? This looks like the ticket...
Man, I thought the first one kinda sucked. Any time they show extended image of people riding horses, wagons, crowd scenes, etc., they're just saying, "We couldn't think of anything interesting to do at this point so here's som filler." There was a lot of filler. Way too much for a premier episode.
Wow! Out of boredom watched the first two episodes last night. The ruthlessness and the "no sh*ts given" to the weak and stupid must of been a very desired trait for the time period. I'm hooked!
^ Actually he is not bad portraying his character. Had the same reservations as you and came away surprised.
We watched it. Final episode (of season 1) aired last weekend. There was a lot I didn't like about how it went down but that's story writing I guess.
Too drama-llama for me. I get that it's from the point of view of typical teenage princess, but man the long monologues and persecution syndrome are great to make fun of. I like to look at her but her accent doesn't fit.
