I live in Atlanta now. I lived in Newnan - the old part - for 15 years. And I live in Buckhead now. Best guess is 2/3 of residents want to stay. If ATL had legit code enforcement I don't think there would be nearly as many issues as there are.

Codes enforcement are useless, unless it targets middle income residences or businesses. They do not effect section 8 housing because the tenants dont care and the New York landlords are impossible to locate and bring to court.

Brick and I made bacon on my pellet grill yesterday and had us some BLT/Dead Piggie sammiches while the Ravens 15th string defense got used by Cincy.

 

The main issue is "restaurants" in residential areas that are restaurants in name only and operate as nightclubs, which is illegal. Current administration is hands off on that and tells cops not to pursue drunk in public or noise violations
