I’d like to get something along these lines. However, I think it’d look even better in bold color (red, white, and blue of course). My questions are: Are detailed tattoos more likely to “run together” over time vs simpler, bolder designs? Are some colors more stable over time? My skin tone is pale (I’m of German), so would black & grey or color look best on me? Is there any way to keep a black & grey tattoo from turning “greenish” over time? This will be on the backside of my calf. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
I have a special one on my junk....sometimes it says AIDS...some times it says ADIDAS. Depends on my mood.
Dope tattoo…can’t go wrong with American Traditional stuff like that. I have a similar bald eagle tattoo but I did mine in color. I have one arm color and one black and gray. There is newer ink that stays “blacker” but it still kinda winds up fading into almost green over time. Most reputable guys offer free touch ups. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks! Feel free to post a pic or two of your eagle. I'm thinking that bold color might be the way to go for something like that.
I would but I’m pretty banged up from a recent crash at NJMP so I physically cannot take pics of it right now. Surgically repaired collarbone and two broken vertebrae….annoying combination of injuries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got a small eagle on my left shoulder blade when I was 19. I was in Biloxi in my USAF Tech School, it was Friday, I got paid, and I decided I wanted to get one. I mean it was 1990, I was on my own...so why not right? It's an eagle in a predatory dive position with it's talons out like it's about to pounce on some prey. When I got it, it almost looked 3D it was so amazing and the lines were so defined. It was $65 because I wanted color and not just black and white Now 31 years later, it's pretty much a blurry smudge on my back. I'd have to get something done over it or have it removed to undo what time has done.
