Cal and Rossi on the podium. Bring back Colin Edwards for a one off podium interview. Starts like this? We'll what the fuck are you guys doing up here! One can only dream. Quaterpounder for the win. Cal to say I had the pace to run up front and finishes 16th just outside of the points. There will be 16 finishers haha. Being a Ex-pat Brit, really hope Cal and Jake can put on a good show. Can wait for practice to begin.
It will be interesting to see how Jake Dixon does on the Petronas bike. Cal to win the press conference, places 19th on a Factory bike. #had_the_pace_duh! Marky Marq to get top 8. Behind Aleix, ahead of Pol. Dance off between Mir, Quarterarararaararo, and Pecco. KTMs and Other Ducs to fill back to Marquez. Rossi wins 12th. Vinales to post some stupid stuff on social media over the weekend. Moto2: Hope Joe Roberts and Cam do ok in Moto2. Moto3: Pretty sure Acosta extends his lead.
Dorna is desparate to get a Brit/Scot/Manx/N.Irish/Welsh rider into the series that's not Rea/other WSBK guys. Dixon's done ok this year, partially hindered by a broken scaphoid earlier in the year. He's also a known quantity that won't pull a Maverick, especially with the carrot of a future MotoGP ride dangling. tl/dr: no risk of damage to the bike, may place better than Cal.
he did crash fighting for a win* did he not? le mans last year. is that not what a good limey does?....
I re watched this race from 2019 today. Man I forgot how bad the Quat/ Dovi crash was at turn one and I forgot how I thought Rins pulled a master class move and turns out he thought race was over a lap early.
