Just finished with a rebuild of my new 2009-2011 GSXR 1000 monobloc calipers for my race bike. Cleaned them really well before reassembly, and the job was pretty straight forward. No stranger to mechanic work but 1st time doing this.
Just did chain/sprockets and rear wheel bearings seals and started the change over to aftermarket subframe on the track steed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A product to suit both men and women. Men because it's metal and former vehicle parts. Her because it's the heaviest damn lamp she could find.
Made this guy on the weekend. Still a few things left to do on it (bottle rack, cord hangers etc), but it's almost done. I might eventually get around to painting it too lol I had some help from the supervisor.
That's the frame of a pull cart for the kids. Going to use an old tractor cowling or 50 gallon drum as the body. They love riding in the radio flyer wagon I made a while back, but this should prove to be a pretty cool ride. We'll see, just need to figure out what direction to go with the body. People are keeping me busy with requests for glass top engine block tables, floor lamps, desk lamps, etc.
I been sick for a while/yrs, slowly putting everything together. Still much to do, sorting etc. Still have tools/tooling at another location to eventually get. Mom donated some garage space, we doing best we can. Machines/tooling from when I owned 50% of firearm accessory company. Mom had bought and loaned my company machines, until I got locked locked out, she got her machines back Most tooling/consumables is old US/GERMAN/JAP, drawers are Packed!!! Slowly getting there. Goal is to restore couple of old vintage bikes, maybe build a vintage racebike, and finish a custom bobbed CBR600RR we started on b4 cancer, and finally rebuild my old 06/1K & refresh everything + paint. When/if it all gets done, then I sell off all machines/tooling/tools and give my mom her garage back so she can sell/move to different location (apartment). It's not much, but should suffice for bike restores.
The 73 CT3 was on the bench for most of the winter. It last ran in 1980 and it was dirty, nasty, and stuck bad with the original piston and only 3k miles. I soaked it for 2 weeks and applied heat but that wouldn't budge it. I had to put it in a press to free it.
