School me on investing...

I have AMC @ $6.80 and I just sold the last of my GME today for a tidy profit. There is a definite pattern to GME the last week or so and I'm hopping off for now.

The earnings report on the 23rd is going to be bonkers, so I want to have some before then... I'll probably grab 5 late thursday or friday.

 

Sold my amc before it went up and bought more GME.


I also want to adopt a gorilla down the road
Or orang-Utan , I like gingers

 

I've had amc since last year at $2 a share, I'm hoping it keeps climbing for a while..

My $900 at RH is at 102% today, after about a week in the red. Fun to watch. No effort at all to sell/buy.

 

Today marks my 1 year anniversary of playing the market (outside of retirement accounts). I clearly have lots to learn, and much of my success has to do with getting in post-covid crash... but overall I'm still up over 50%

 

The 10th was mine. Up 115%

Now if I could just keep those same gains moving forward I can retire in a few years lol

More realistically my mutual funds in my real retirement account did alright last year too.

I had a very smart guy tell me straight outta boot camp to put as much of my paycheck as I could do without into mutual funds.
