My fees are high. I soon retire, and then they double! :D

However, WERA gets a killer deal - I'll work for food and track access.

    Metric Time proposals:
10 metric hrs per day, 100 minutes to a metric hour, 100 metric seconds to a minute. IIRC.

    :dead:

Shit, that's French revolution stuff. With 10 day week.

That didn't fly too far... :D

    Now the time has come
    Nowhere to run
Might get burned up by the sun
    But I'll have my fun
    I've been loved, pushed aside
I've been crushed by tumbling tide
And my soul has been psychedelicized

That should be enough to drive engineers and physicists over the edge.

Not sure what people you know but most I know do not have that freedom. I do when I'm at home so I really don't care on that score. I'd like it from a racing perspective as we have never had to wait for the sun to rise to start practice but have absolutely had to shut down for lack of daylight at the end of a day.

Companies can make decisions independent of others. There is no law defining the start of a workday.

I thought I understood time until I tried reading "A Brief History of Time" and gave up after 50 pages.

Then I watched Interstellar and I still don't understand the relationship of gravity to Time.

If you go into orbit around a black hole, you can stay young forever? :Poke:

What's that got to do with you telling individuals to just go to work earlier?

Something about not needing to reset the clock twice a year.

So you're saying they should leave the clock alone and pretend they're getting up at different times according to their clocks?

Sometimes I think you argue just for the sake of arguing.

No. I am saying leave the clock alone. Let businesses decide what time they open with a fixed clock (set for the appropriate time zone) as a reference.

Letting businesses decide what's best for workers has definitely worked out in the past

And you're being confusing as hell

If the business dictates its opening and closing times - as they pretty much already do - the employee has no choice.

You said the employee in order to have more daylight should just go to work earlier - they don't have that option when the employer sets the hours.

Your fix is great for a handful of people who can set their own hours. Doesn't do shit for the vast majority who cannot. What their employers do or don't do is a moot point in that statement.
