The Patriots lost because the team didn’t back up their QB, and the Steelers got caught cheating but Goddell decided to push them through as the winner even though they were caught. Shame Big Ben will probably kick the bucket ASAP before he gets his ring, and they’ll give it to his wife before his cold body lays down. All part of the Steelers plan. Next thing you know the Steelers will probably split ideals up because they aren’t planning for the same games as a collective anymore.

    Did I do that right?

    Nothin. Go make some cookies.

Actually, I made a batch last night, pretty dang good.

I've been tweaking on this recipe for awhile, and tried a lemon-banana-craisin version last night that's awesome.

    Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted and cooled

    1 banana

I added a tablespoon of that real-lemon stuff in the plastic lemon. My ol lady likes that stuff in her icewater.

3/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

    1 cup all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked. I used 4 packages of Lemon Creme instant

    1 cup craisins
    Steps
    1
Preheat oven. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil sprayed with Pam
    2
Make the dough. Whisk together melted butter and banana and real-lemon until smooth. Add brown sugar and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth. Mixture will look like caramel sauce. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Switch to a wooden spoon and stir until you don't see any streaks of flour. Add the oats and craisins. Mix until combined.
    3
Bake. Drop dough, about two tablespoons each, onto one of the prepared baking sheets. Space dough about one inch apart. These don't spread much. Bake until set, about 14-16 minutes. Less for softer cookies, longer for crunchy.
    4
Cool. Remove the pan from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the pan for a bit. (While they cool, bake the remaining dough on the second baking sheet.) Transfer cookies to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
    5
Store. Keep the cookies covered on the counter for up to four days or freeze for up to three months. To freeze cookies: place in a freezer container and separate layers with a piece of wax or parchment paper. Thaw overnight on the counter.

Wait a minute, this thread isn't really about football is it?

I still say the giants got hosed by the classless eagles.

One other version that's good is to use an egg instead the banana, name brand maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal, no real-lemon, sub maple sugar for the brown sugar, and sub mapleine for the vanilla. Cut the cook time down to 12-14

I haven't watched any ball sports this year, but looks like the generic team is playing Brady tonight and I hear he's apparently still a goat or something.
