FZR400, 1989? I would be happy to simply get $800 for everything

    Bike has been sitting disassembled for nearly 8 years now. It is obvious I am never going to get around to doing anything with it.

    Everything is there.. former racebike. Fox shock and emulators in the forks, I think 1990 brake calipers

    plus there are some extra stuff, to go with it;
    some yzf600 swingarm and shock etc
    a 17" 80's gsxr rear wheel
    a few sets of bodywork and some individual pieces too
    a complete cylinder head that was rebuilt and fresh since it seems likely the one that was on the engine may have damage when the bike was put away wet and allowed to freeze,
    a second clutch basket assembly IM000548.JPG IM000547.JPG IM000550.JPG IM000843.JPG IM000844.JPG IM000559.JPG IM000548.JPG IM000547.JPG IM000550.JPG IM000843.JPG IM000844.JPG IM000559.JPG IM000567.JPG IM000564.JPG IM000565.JPG IM000571.JPG

    I bought it from someone who obviously didn't know he needed to drain the water before letting it sit in his MN shed for several years, so the radiator is expanded but not broken, but the water line is broken as shown in pic. I have to look but I do believe I have a few brand new oem yamaha parts for this including the broken waterpipe etc

    It is located in the south suburbs of Minneapolis, MN

    I could probably be talked into delivering it to a race. Maybe Pittrace or Nelsons. I could do a road trip with some help for gas money. This is only about an hour from me.

    Revisiting this thread....
    I see I failed to mention the endurance fuel tank.

    The tank is an endurance tank, a small approx 1 gallon fuel tank welded to the back of the stock tank so the battery was relocated into the tail.

    Someone must want a winter project and have a nice set up for racing next season.

    I don't suppose any of that yellow bodywork looks like this? You can't seen it in the photo, but the top of the tank cover is black. It would be cool to run across my old race bike.

    So I am willing to drop to $600..... pays for some of your fuel for the trip ..

    or for someone else 6 crisp hundred dollar bills and it is all yours......

    I simply have too many bike parts scattered in too many spots and time to consolidate and get rid of some of it.
