Any rumors for next year? Have to be getting to that point in the season... I hope JD finds a way to come back. I know Keith McCarty got him in with Estenson, but sucks seeing them struggle with that bike. Hope they reward him somehow for being a “factory man”. Scholtz sounds like he’s in for Westby still. Toni and Richie teammates on a Honos / Graves Kawi? I’m assuming Attack stays the same. HSBK a 1 or 2 bike team? M4 seat available?
Yamaha WSBK seats have bean filled so I guess Beabier won't be going unless he changes brands (snowballs chance in Phoenix in July).
Landers to a 600? Maybe one of the M4 seats? HSBK should be a 2 bike team, I hope PJ makes a solid comeback. With the Pata seat filled, maybe Attack runs a WSBK team for boobie-yer.
I think Rocco has to figure out if he can get a good enough ride in Europe or if he should attempt to be the first and maybe only person to win a US Championship in every National class. I would love to see him go win a supersport championship, and then a stock 1000, and then be the next Cam B.
JC: 14 Twins: 15 Supersport: 16 Stock 1000: 17 SBK: 18 https://americanmotorcyclist.com/wp...MotoAmerica-License-Eligibility-5-20-2020.pdf
If he was able to ride Twins this season, then I'm pretty sure he could ride Supersport next season. He had to be 15 before Road America 1 this year....
Word of Toni retiring is bittersweet. Awesome talent, love what he did for the series, but he’ll be 38yo next year and is a father to two. He’s been there done that and it’s a deserved retirement. Not as a slight to M4, but I think he really gelled with and liked the Yoshimura crew, and I think he even misses Roger as a teammate. You could kind of sense it last year too. They’re the same age and there was some overlap in experiences, and I think they connected over that and Nicky.
Yeah, I get it but having him here, even if he's a bit long in the tooth was awesome. We used to get the WSBK and motogp cast offs coming into the US for a paycheck and a few years of semi retirement but he came over and produced results (unlike most of 'em). Plus, he was likable (and I like almost no one). Shit, damn, darn, monkey f@ck!
Zanetti did a bang up Job on the Warhorse Ducati. It will be interesting to see who they put on that monster.
That wouldn't suck. Well, as long as parts on him don't fall off before he gets here. Call Mojo Nixon 'cause Cal could use some fixin'.
Well maybe Zanetti can come over and fill the role of aging European who makes our series look Mickey Mouse.
