    None of the above are me, but I have driven a couple of overloaded vehicles in my day.

    Dad sent me to pick up bags of concrete mix in our Impala Diesel (dating myself with that one). Put them all in the trunk and got in the driver's seat and noticed the hood was sloped back toward me, so moved 2 bags into the passenger footwell and one each in the rear footwells. Better balanced, but that POS was damn slow with just a driver in it and was dangerously slow loaded like that, which in the end may not have been all bad in hindsight.

    Couple few more psi in the tires, and jam some firewood between the frame and axle (little known secret to fit a full cord of wet firewood in a half ton...;) ) and he woulda been fine......

    The male mentality of "one trip, and one trip only" not only applies to bring the groceries in from the car....:D

    Shoot... I am a construction manager for a small/medium sized construction company in Pennsylvania... my work Ram 2500 gets workouts like that all the time.
