I bought an engine from TWF Racing (for a not-insignificant amount of money as you can imagine). It got here today. I've never really done this kind of thing before, so it was kind of a big deal for me. I opened the crate and Holy Shit, the case is cracked! Looking at the crate you can tell it got banged around and damaged in shipping.

Terrific. Now what? I don't know this guy. He's 2600 miles away. Like everyone else I've read all sorts of horror stories about money disputes on the internet. I PM'd him describing the situation, not knowing what to expect. He asked for a few pictures, which I sent.

Then what happened, you ask? Well, I'll tell you what happened. 34 minutes after my first PM the money was back in my account. That's it. No fuss, no muss, just "BOOM!" Money!

I still wouldn't know him if he walked up to me on the street, but TWF Racing is a righteous MoFo in my book. He went above and beyond. He handled our situation with speed, class and integrity. Righteous!

    TWF2 2 heads are better than 1

Yea, filed already. Hopefully they pay for damage they did. If they do I will get my money but most like they will take engine from Jim.
If they don't he will have free engine, with broken case.

You should hear him cuss you out in Croatian coming in on the crashtruck -- this after running him out of gas in an endurance race (T7, Road Atlanta, natch). He smiled about it afterwards. Always does. :D

The Z man rules. When you deal with him you get shit that works, for a fair price, fast. He is very generous with his time and knowledge, and he won't try to sell you stuff you don't need. He will tell you what you need to know, which is Open Throttle Facking Poosy!
