Damn that’s a bummer. I still remember when the wizard at the music store got me hip to the first three Fleetwood Mac albums. He’s hands down my favorite guitarist of all time. That’s cool you were there. It’s one of my most treasured albums.
I remember they announced that they were recording for a live album. I don't quite remember which concert. The first one had Tim Hardin opening. He joined the band onstage for their last set. The second concert had some new band called The James Gang opening.
Most people don't realize how big his influence was. In 1969 he and the band outsold both the Beatles & Stones combined!
