many moons ago, my friend. That was pre-lessons learned In fact, I've posted more here since lock-down then I have in the last few years combined. Doing so has reminded me how easy it is to get caught up in internet drama, but it takes self control to let it go. From my experience, life is simpler if you can learn to just let some things go.
I suppose you can say it's a different kind of fun. I call it making better decisions and living with fewer regrets. Cheers!
It provides the affirmation fix. Nothing equals being told you are brilliant by those who share your views. "I Agree With Me" is a powerful drug. Look at the list of dungeon regulars who left completely because they were denied that fix here. No amount of "general" can make up for being prohibited to barf out their political views and hatreds.
That's what I go there for, I don't do internet arguments. Just another way to follow political goings on and follow some interesting links. And currently get info from guys that are really close to the rioting.
Phil has his dungeon BBS up and running and a lot of the usual suspects are there having the usual conversations. Really, go there if you want to go all oniony funyunsy dungeony dungeon, I like my pool and tennis court and ain't giving that shit up. Gonna put in a grass section with a lacrosse goal and maybe a basketball hoop when my second trumpmoney card comes.
Kinda like a list of one, no? So much hyperbole and butthurt from the non-dungeon regulars when the simple truth is only Mongo had to read it.
i think i should just shut the other place down for a while too. all the moderating is going on my nerves
Nope, and when I eventually get rid of General I'm putting in a dirt oval to run CRF100s and shitbox cars. Just need cash.
