That's Apple/Oranges comparison. In terms of population concentration, Sweden is way different than the US (and Italy). This is one of the reason they chanced that route, which was basically protect the elders and let the youth catch it.

All Sweden is doing is following the same thing the US did during the H1N1 pandemic in 2009. And it worked fine.

Also note that Sweden has almost 800 deaths to PA's 338. The start of the spread would need to be taken account, we don't really know when each started.

 

My younger sisters have been pissed at me because I've been telling them this is all bullshit on FB and they know better.
The youngest is a visiting nurse in MA and the oldest is a respiratory therapist at a hospital in MA. She's been asked
several times now if she's overloaded with COVID-19 cases and.... no answer. Which I take as a "no". I know damn well
that if her hospital was packed she'd be screaming about it. Her hospital is one of two serving the poorest city in Massachusetts
so if anyplace should be packed it's them.
