So yeah, this thing is nothing like the flu indeed.

On the flip side we have millions of people unemployed now, job well done.

 

Still an apples to oranges comparison until we have one full year of data for the new bug.

If we could test millions we would have a much better view of this thing and make a logical decision about how to move forward. Perhaps in a month we'll have enough quick kits for people to go to a doc in a box or pharmacy to get tested for the virus and antibodies. Until then all arguments for or against the current handling are moot.

But here’s an interesting tidbit.

Curious, considering the early warnings about potential increased morbidity with use of ibuprofen. Is it possible that the comorbidities that are proving most lethal, like obesity, are more a function of an already taxed inflammatory response going into 7th gear and redlining?

 

This is what I have. I can still remember in 2nd and 3rd being lined up in the school cafeteria working our way to a couple of nurses who had this paint gun looking thing with small brown bottle. Roll up the sleeve, a swab on the arm, the gun being pressured against you and then pop.

I also remember how it affected kids differently when some would start crying while simply waiting in line, while a few others would cry after getting the shot. No doubt in my mind who the cryers on here would be. You all know who you are.
