Anyone know where any “Super Singles” are? Rotax, Spondon, Harris, etc

Got a customer looking for something g unique and obviously not gonna spend the $$$$ on a super mono Ducati so I suggested an old Single?

I know they were around in the 90’s a lot.

anyone have anything or know of any anywhere?

    where did they all go?

there were some nice rotax powered bikes and also some Honda. Definitely not interested in the scorpions that are Yamaha raptors.

Ron Wood used to bring a Rotax single he built out to Willow in the 90's. Man that thing was quick. You just sparked some memories for me. I wonder if you can look him up to see if he has anything laying around.

Tim Estebseb bought up most of his stuff before he passed.

Jeffrey carver bought big red also before he passed.

I have a Harris framed SRX.

    I have a Tigcraft framed DR790.

    I have a Spondon 660 Yamaha.

Are those the types of bikes you are inquiring about?

    Cheers,

    Dave

The Woods Rotax road race singles are rare as hens teeth and command a commensurate price, i.e., very expensive. I know where two are, and their owners know what they have . . . .

There were a few TZ frames with singles shoved in them.

There’s a bunch of Honda and Yamaha framed singles out there.

There is one on the ARHMA for sale website. Not cheap. I've got a yz 450f that Geoff Maloney built and have only ridden it once at Daytona a couple of weeks ago. I'm the 4th owner. I'd highly recommend if you can find one.

I have a couple of Honda 500 singles that aren't very trick, but could be as trick as he is willing to pay for.

    No 441's . . . half a dozen B50's - street, dirt track, motocross, road racers -, Gold Star 500, A65's, 750 twins . . . plenty of oil leakers to keep one occupied.

    Cheers,
