agreed, or the Grand Sport. Looking forward to seeing those models. But it’ll probably be another year or two before they appear.
I searched "Carlyle Racing Corvette" on YouTube and the driver says they indeed drove 501 miles before the drag runs. 550ish miles shown on the dash in the vid. Sent from Tapatalk while sheltering in place.
Uncle just ordered a red convertible with the optional exhaust, carbon exterior trim and the GPS linked adjustable suspension (think it raises and lowers depending on preset locations due to elevated entrances). Don't know when it'll get built but cant wait to drive it.
Porsche started that shit with a color called "Chalk", It's basically just saving the money for a pigment coat and clearcoating the primer. I perosnally like it in person but it never photgraphs well.
Could be. The lighting, on my screen, just makes it look a bit flat. Like all these cars, and trucks, running around these days in flat colors that look more like primer than an actual finished paint job, to me. I don't understand it, and have given up on yelling at the kids in the street.
Yeah it's definitely a trend nowadays Audi was once if the first to do it and now Toyota does it a lot. It's like a flat primer grey but with a gloss clear over it, it's weird.
So much for the hype about the photo features on the iphone11. It was a really nice white pearl coat finish.
Lol, it's not clear-coated primer, and nobody is EVER saving money be eliminating something on a Porsche..........they are famous for charging you more for less. The paint is essentially a non-metallic, off white/grey on the Porsche, and is a throwback to early Porsche colors..... https://www.rennbow.org/colorwiki/Chalk
The audi color is far from primer grey. It is called Nardo Grey and has quite a bit of blue and green Pearl in it. I painted my bike that color and it was not cheap.
(Actual conversation with pop as whatever flat grey new car passed by.) Me "Hey pop what do you think of that grey paint? It's really popular now." Pop "I think it looks great. On a battleship." Pop is unimpressed.
I've been taking my grandpa to chemotherapy. A couple of times it's been raining. When we pass a dark colored car without their lights on he always says they need a ticket lol.
When I was a kid virtually everything was painted battleship grey. They must have had a trillion gallons of that stuff left over from the war. Must have finally run out so they had to make more....
