Just wanted to share this beauty I picked up recently. The parts I would say are vintage, nearly impossible to find. The bike isn’t, 2001 R1. Enjoy, lemme know if you have any questions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beautiful There are a lot of very nice aftermarket parts on that My 98 is looking on very enviously at yours
Ben’s old bike, nice. If you have a spare Attack or Graves airbox for sale, or see one for sale, let me know. Need one for the 99. A Harris swing arm would be nice too. I have a kidney ready to sell.
Thank you!! Yea, it’s at the shop now getting the flatsides tuned. The carbon air box is from attack performance. Can’t wait to hear this thing sucking air!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Man those things are impossible to find. I’m always looking for parts like this as I do allot of sbk builds. If I see anything I’ll let you know. Check out Classic YZFR1 owners group on FB. Correct, that was Bens bike, he did an amazing job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I keep an eye on the different fb groups. Ben and a few others have also let me know when nice parts they don’t want come up. I’m really only looking for the airbox (I have the qb box, I’d rather have Attack) swing arm would be nice too but I’m not holding my breath. I know where two are sitting unused, owner won’t sell and I can’t blame him. I have a set of FG43’s waiting to go on. Then it needs some tuning time.
I bought that QB Carbon airbox for my build. I have a Harris single sided swingarm I might be persuaded to sell as I have an R7 swingarm going on my bike. The Harris SSSA uses the Ducati rear wheel parts.
Where do you get stuff like that, I’ve obviously been looking in all the wrong places or my social distancing doesn’t work for me in this case Anyway seeing as we are sharing here is my 98
In my stash of parts I do have this Ram Air system which I ran for a while, it really improves top end but have decided to go back to the Attack air box as it makes service a PITA Not sure if anyone is interested but would entertain offers
The S is a work in progress and is currently just a shed full of parts. But the SSSA, exhaust and subframe came off a multi title winning hill climb TL1080S in the UK. Picture is of the bike the parts came from.
