Ah no. I see how you are confused because it looks like they’re over his feet. However, those are what some call frame sliders but are more like pivot points to eject your bike through the dirt in a tumbling motion when you low slide and they dig in and flip the shit out of your bike.
A friend of mine had a CBR with sliders like that (mounted really low). He pushed the front one time and drug the slider; didn't crash though.

They look like they would drag. The stator cover on my 06 GSX-R600 used to touch the ground and it was tucked in much further than that.
Your stator cover was likely lower on the bike. Take another look and you will see the pegs will dig in before those "sliders" on a flat surface. A big ass high curb might be another story, but I doubt it even then.
