Can you take a picture of the inside of the button pod? I want to see if the buttons are replaceable. Need to see how they are attached to the pod. I have this exact button pod from 39N Racing and I like it. I lost 2 button caps however during a high speed low side.
Haha, Playstation Special https://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle...418993?hash=item4210aa0371:g:x2oAAOSwHv1eIWjq
I can double check and confirm. I have some extra momentary vs. constant buttons, that I picked up from 39n.
Sure. They are replaceable. I went with a custom color setup on the R6, previously. You could set it up however you want and pick the momentary/constant combination with a little tweaking.
The individual switches are around $25-$35 on Digi-key I lost a white button on my Alpha pod and had to replace the entire switch due to not being able to just buy the cap The switches are made by APEM https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=ipr3fad
This is the one I needed https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/apem-inc/IPR3FAD7-1/679-1130-ND/1280196 If you hit the datasheet link on the top you can see all the options. Here's an on/off switch, Looks like its the IPR1 series https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/apem-inc/IPR1SAD2/679-1099-ND/1280165
Sorry, this is the one I ended up using https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/apem-inc/IPR3SAD7-1/679-4041-ND/1796147 It had solder lugs versus flying leads, I found the housing on the flying lead to be too long and would interfere with the clip on bar. The solder lug housing was shorter. I cut the factory wires at the base of the bad switch then soldered them to the new switch and encapsulated the lugs with silicone.
Also, will include 4 added buttons (red, blue, black, yellow). I believe they are all momentary (not the on/off type) buttons.
All the buttons in that link are Momentary NO buttons. I have the parts numbers for the Latching NO On/OFF buttons that Colt, 39N Racing owner, gave to me but I’ll have to find the book I wrote them in. Either that or look into my browser history.
