I’m pulling my gear out to get ready for the summer and I noticed that my Alpinestars boots evidently had the front slider ripped off the left boot. Is this something that could be fixed with a resoling of the boot? Does anyone have contact information for Alpinestars? Any idea on cost? The front retaining piece apparently got ripped off. I didn’t even feel it!
Funny you ask, I was researching boot repair as I was considering what boots to buy and found this thread and many others touting Alpinestar's repair services. Makes them look pretty attractive to me. https://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321723
I have one that looks just like that. They quoted me $50 plus whatever shipping costs to fix it. You can email [email protected] and they’ll set the repair order up for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anthony's Leatherworks in Southern California has repaired that issue for me and my wife before. Small bike racing problems.
Alpinestars repair service is awesome. Had my Supertechs repaired. They went above and beyond. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Boots are on their way back. Less than 4 days to repair them once I got them in their hands. Spectacular Service from Ryan. The email is [email protected] $50 for the repair. As soon as they come in I'll post pics of the after when I get them back.
While loading up for jennings, i noticed i have the exact damage on one of my toes but the slider is still there. good info.
Just got back a pair of Supertech R boots that I sent in. They did an excellent job, replaced the soles, toe sliders, and heel slider/impact plate. Fee was $120, but now I have an excellent pair of boots again at an affordable price. The availability of this service means I will stick with Alpine* when it's time to buy a new pair.
