I agree with you here 100 percent, except the part about Bernie. I cannot stand that moronic little scum bag.

Then what specific issue do you have with the freedom of choice, max political freedom, limited gov't ideology? Be specific.

I wouldn’t expect much of an intelligent response from this one. Pretty sure this is the same immature little douche that posted a thread awhile back about off-roading his gixxxxxxxxer or something after riding like a dumbass on the street. Coupled with his replies in this thread, he strikes me as a typical illogical millennial with a splash of Clarence Randall

Which of those thoughts were your own? I suggest you try adding a little bit of your own perspective and people might take you a bit more seriously.
It's astonishing how emotional people are getting and I think the left is the more emotional. The tantrums immediately expressed after losing the last election have turned into unbridled pursuit of unseating president Trump at any cost. Finding the truth has nothing to do with it. There is barely concealed glee with any perceived progress in that regard. The use of 30 pens to sign the articles of impeachment should tell you that. My old college buddy used to mock people like this by saying "Don't confuse me with the facts!" I'm in no way implying that the president is a saint, but this whole thing is about the pursuit of power and not justice.

None, my point was this holier than thou attitude, whilst still cutting down the POTUS.

TZ, by reading some of your posts, we know how far left you are. I"m glad you're happy with your illogical self.

?, It's all my own thoughts, thanks. I agree with you. He's the best POTUS we've ever had.

Come up with that yourself did you? Oh, I'm so hurt

    Millenial?- NOT
Don't even confuse me with Robby, or Clarence, thanks.
As for riding my Gixxer on the street like a dumbass, wrong again. Yes, it was an open, secluded country road when that tractor pulled out and covered the whole road. Near cars, in town, etc.- not a dumbass.
But, I'll obviously never be as good as any of you all.
Oh yea, Intelligence? How you measuring that? By internet warriors and posts? Got it.

My whole point of my post was the holier than though attitude about the POTUS, while NONE of us could do anything close to what he has accomplished. Period.
Long live President Trump, and the legend of Chris Kyle.

I'm at work, slow between patients right now. Have a good day.
    Go Green Bay!

No, you specifically called out libertarians and then claimed you know the “no shit sherlock” definition. You can’t or won’t explain your issue which is just BS.

    Steeltoe What's my move?

A millennial friend told me she was considering Bernie or Yang. I said Bernie is a socialist. She said he has some great ideas.

I asked her if she knew the history of the former Eastern Bloc. Nope.

It became clear to me we have a generation who did not witness the former USSR, East/West Germany. They don't know the history of socialist Poland. Never heard of someone trying to defect. People waiting in lines to get food at empty grocery stores.

This person has a college degree so either this stuff isn't taught or it's candy coated into make believe.

This whole post falls in line with the ACLU and civil liberties have always been championed by the left, while the GOP of the past 40 years has been supporting fundamentalist Christian agendas that directly oppose such ideas, so I'm curious which side you identify with in a two party system?

I don't know any true Libertarians who still stick to their guns, once you actually engage them in conversation. When you highlight core Socialist institutions, like having a publicly funded fire/police department, public access hospitals, or having roads that you're not paying tolls on every mile you travel, as fundamentally better for the greater good, they tend to agree with you and back down pretty quick.

Well consider yourself as having met one now. If forced to vote with one of the two parties, I generally go republican because the things I value most fall more in line with them. As far as socialized programs like education, public roads, fire - I say privatize it all. The only one I may be hesitant to privatize is the judicial/criminal justice element.

  20. Venom51

Venom51 John Deere Equipment Expert - Not really

You could privatize all of that and end up with better services. Other than some "free clinics" I don't know of any truly publicly funded and operated hospitals. Your days of not paying directly for every mile you travel are coming to an end. Every new lane of travel that has been put in lately in the Metro Atlanta area is a toll based "Express lane". When and if electric vehicles become the norm and they aren't collecting shit in fuel taxes you can bet your ass you'll be paying for every mile. The Georgia Peach pass is a prime example of testing that methodology out to see if it will scale. Police and fire are a little harder to argue but truthfully most people don't "need" those services on a daily basis but at least one of them is useful when you need it however. I suspect those could be privatized as well but present more complexity in doing so.

Maybe I just don't really fit into any of the currently "defined" groups. I would at one point have considered myself fiscally conservative but since they seem to have abandoned the idea in the last two decades I can't say that anymore. Libertarian is a close as I can come to a defined position that's why I stated the I would "probably" label myself that.
