His heart was heart broken. He endured much mental anguish in his life.
Brain cancer stole him from this globe.

My boss in the 80’s (@ NKX) and I determined a long time ago, his lyrics made their music for “the thinking man”.
    Godspeed.

They all played very well together, probably at their peak at that time.

Man I love that song. That whole album screams badassedness. I lost my shit when they played it live during their last tour. The even brought out the double effing guitars !!!
Makes me miss the seventies even more.

“Tom Sawyer”, for me. I can still remember going to my buddy’s house and hearing that song kickoff through his brother’s 901’s, for the first time. I was hooked on Rush, from there on.

Google Rick Beato Neil Peart on YT. Get your hankies ready.

I would rather have Geddy's doubleneck Rick over Alex's Gibson. A bass/6 string would be awesome.

Beato's stuff has become a very deep youtube rabbit hole for me.
He did something similar, re: Cornell

Loved Chris Cornell. I think, he would’ve been a good dude to be around.

Yes, that is dangerous territory! I understand almost nothing on a technical basis of what he is saying, but his videos are fascinating. I can only imagine what it is like if you actually grasp the musical concepts. Truly touching to see him so distraught. What a loss.

I listen to a LOT of his acoustic stuff and there was definitely substantial pain inside him, especially in his live performances. Unfortunately, no one can remove that from anyone who is hurting so bad. For sure, he was a great loss.

Very nice Chaos....great article. After the wife and daughter went shopping yesterday, I turned up my subwoofer and listened to 2112, at or above reference levels. His drumming put put a smile on my face a few times.

Just a lot of busting your balls, but they were definitely better than The Ramones. :D
