L/F master cylinder upgrade for 2015 Yamaha FJ09

Looking for a cheap upgrade for my street bike mc as the brakes suck. Something like an OEM R1 mc or similar. What you got ? Located in Canada.

I just found some Franco on eBay. Not quite within my 50 to 100$ budget, which is what an OEM R1 MC goes for.

Would that connect to my OEM brake switch ?

 

Sorry I’m not sure how the brake light switch would work on these masters. I’ve only used them on race/track day bikes.

 

Kicking this up. Anybody upgraded their brakes on their race R1 and want to get rid of the OEM stuff ?

 

I have an R6 MC I’d let go for $100 and shipping, comes with lever.
