I wonder if WF/Amazon writes off the customer donated food as their own donation?

I don’t shop at WF, so best I can do is tip my bartender a bit more around the holidays...she’s kinda hot. Sorry kids.

So you have to buy the food at full price, in essence making whole foods more profitable, so that you can then donate it to the hungry?

    Huh....smart, playing on peoples feelings...

And yes they absolutely write it off. You aren't donating it to the needy, they are.

I don't donate...I pay taxes. So, I cannot afford to donate.

To be fair, Bezos is now paying 1/2 of those earnings to his ex wife.

She got something like $20 billion in the settlement. I seriously doubt she's getting any of his current income.

She may have to cut back some, but I think she should be able to manage on $20 billion.

Yeah, if she's real careful with it, she might be able to never work again.

She's 49. Her net worth is 41.9 billion as of Nov 2019. The average life expectancy of a female in the U.S. is 79 years old. She can spend $1,396,666,666 per year for the next 30 years without earning another dollar before her credit card gets denied.
    Not too shabby.

Yes but did you factor in her social security benefit into the equation? She could probably spend a little more. LOL

I can’t even grasp that level of net worth. Simply crazy.

Isn't their entire business based on feelings?

Don't remember where I'd read this article, but it was commenting on out of top 10 or 20 wealthiest women in the world, there was a disturbingly high number that were on that list simply because they fleeced their ex-husbands in divorce court, lol.
