Same thing happened all over the country. Aprilia has serious dealer network issues. I think it takes a special relationship and expertise like AF1 to make it work. There are some Aprilia dealers on this forum who would know. Thus, I proposed a destination dealership with AF1 vs going directly to Piaggio.
I’m a bit disappointed they didn’t keep the finishes of the concept bike. It looks just average, now.
So basically close to SV Superbike power to weight in supersport trim and with pretty much all of the modern electronic aids. Cost will be more than the KTM 790, but how much more remains to be seen.
Damnit, hang tight. I didn't even click on the website for fear that my laptop would drop a part that was on backorder. Edit: They do have some on the floor, half of them are 2018 models though. Also sell Moto Guzi and Harleys apparently.
270 crank means it should sound somewhat similar to mt07. 100 hp is an aprilia crank number, so probably more like 80-85 at the wheel. Honestly it is not really any lighter and only a little more powerful than a 2nd gen SV. Looks a lot nicer though. Hope it kicks ass but not sure it will totally destroy a 20 year old Suzuki.
Pretty stunning in that colorway. Polish the frame, polish the swingarm, paint the engine, hang a full Akrapovic, and I’d have a showpiece like the concept.
