This here is 100% correct and really the best way to make "fries". I also do them in a pan on the grill when I am cooking the meat.

Sweet tater tots almost definitely require a fryer to get them perfect. They'll always be different than regular spuds though.

Picked up a little air-fryer yesterday and tried it out today. Threw some Yukon gold I had lying around sliced into wedges in there and they came out not too bad at all.

Definitely not a "french fry" but I also like it better not soaked in grease :D

I've noticed that I've not used my microwave in probably almost 2 months...so this might be a good replacement for it. I've heard its not the smartest thing to heat/reheat food in the microwave, not sure the validity of it.

I use them all them time, they are blanched and actually fried before the iqf freeze them. It's different when you cut a fresh potato, toss it in the oven and expect anything close to a french fry. Most boats I work on don't have fryers, the whole ocean waves moving hot oil thing. I use those ore ida bags when I cook burgers or someone wants a french fry

Pickled Okra and pickled asparagus both belong in Bloody Marys at the same time.

Perhaps not "bad" for you is the correct term.
They do prefer more starchy "vegetables" in the south don't they?
