I'm hearing he's lacking feel in the front, the poor man. And being German, we know he likely has a soft for the back end....

Yes. Yes. Probably safe to buy that MM 10 Time World Champion shirt a little early too. Will the announcers start masturbating while they say “The 8 time world champion next year”? I give it even odds.

Ride of the day to our boy Aleix Espargaro! Well other than Marc, but he was grown by Honda in a test tube. Top 10 on an Aprilia in the dry ahead of Valentino. Beast. Those brothers are specialists in making shit motorcycles perform better than they deserve. I’d actually love to see Pol ride that Repsol when Jorge leaves it. I think he’s one of the few on grid who could actually ride it.

 

Aleix is the most underrated rider on the grid. He rode the Forward CRT, the Suzuki and now the Aprilia to positions higher than the bikes were really destined for. Suzuki made a mistake letting him go. Dude rides his heart out and wears it on his sleeve at the same time.

 

Yamaha have to be kicking themselves for letting him walk. What a way to learn that cubic sponsorship dollars don't equate to good products and results, without the right people.

 

He was outshined by his rookie teammate on the Suzuki and shown the door. Also, he's always been a very fast but has put a lot of bikes in the gravel trap.
