I've typed about a thousand words this morning about trying to keep people from making bad choices in the first place, not refusing to hold them responsible. You're missing the point in all of this - these people DO NOT think they're making bad choices because WE are allowing misinformation to be spread.

It's easier to go to college at taxpayer expense than to punch a clock every day. If I knew for a certainty that my betters would save me from my own stupidity by forgiving my debt, I would be in class tomorrow morning. If they want to feed me while I'm there, all the better.

4) Safe spaces should be mocked as should everyone in them. Basically it is an area where a bunch of whiny idiots gather to blame others for their problems while guaranteeing no one will contradict their insanity
5)Media is offensive a lot of times. There is this thing called a channel selector or even better an off switch. Unlike progressives I do not want to limit their speech but that does not mean I listen to it. Shoot I even turn off talk radio as at times they are just annoying and road hum is more peaceful.

I agree. The borrower should put in more effort to determine if they can pay back the loan.

I'm not disagreeing. I'm pointing out that the system pushes the "do as you feel" crap and it's wrong. People/entities in these positions of trust and authority (teachers, guidance counselors, the government, etc) should be more brutally honest about the obligation being taken on.
