My youngest just started High school last week, and then I realised homecoming is coming up soon It goes so fast. Im just glad she still loves riding dirtbikes with me and going to the roadraces and working the paddock stands etc.
My son is 7 daughters 13 and 14. All I can say is estrogen, wtf. At least I can go hang out with my son now. He’s old enough to start doing fun stuff like taking the boat fishing, playing catch, golf, hockey - well street hockey. My goal is to have the whole street playing hockey by the end of the year. I’m diversifying Ga.
My little girl used to sit in my lap in the garage and drop screwdrivers down the exhaust pipes of my road racer (had to watch that!) She just became a doctor, doing her residency in a hospital in Florida. Wow, where did the time go?
It's a pretty straightforward job. All ya gotta do is feed and water your kids. At least you're beyond the point of constantly saving her life, all day ... every day.
Crap. I remember when she was a lump that just hung out in a bouncy seat. That might be the last time I saw her too....
That's awesome and also hilarious. The girl who used to drop screwdrivers down the exhaust pipe is now a doctor. If she becomes a surgeon, it'll be even funnier. Congratulations, man!
Why do the grow up so fast? My 4yo just started to ride his bike without training wheels. Still terrified of The 50 though, after the incident last year. Someone invent a thing to slow down time
My grand daughter is 7 in 2nd grade. She's 4'5"! When I pick her up it's all I can do to keep her feet from dragging on the ground. Won't be too long until picking her up for hugs is a thing of the past.
Mine are 8 and 6. She's a brown belt in Taekwondo, and has a temper that goes to 11 like a light switch. She will argue me to the death. I love it. Now the boy, well, he's a lover, but he don't give two shits what anybody thinks. He's got the personality to match the hair too. He's that kid that everyone is drawn to. Especially girls. I love it. At the farm Saturday...
I took my 6 y.o. to the Charleston aquarium. She wanted to ride on my shoulders, so we found a bench for her to stand on while she mounted up. I danced and bounced a little to make it fun. Later that day I found there was a huge painful lump at the end of my left collarbone. It's still there 3 months later. I'm 48. Need to reevaluate what I'm capable of!
