Considering they drove 40 mins away from Glasgow, where the hotel rooms average currently at $60-$100 night (Cheap!), you got to wonder how Fox (and the local peanut gallery) would have handled it had it been, instead, at Hussein's Kenyan Golf Retreat.....

    Where's the exploding head emoticon?....

So the crew stayed at a place below per diem and now people are bitching. Classic. Oh and yes the Fox News did complain about Obama when he took two plains and an entourage for Michelle. Some justified a bunch not.

The plains is Spain, where it mostly rains?...

Anyway, not to get either of your respective whities in a knot; only two facts, an amusing probability and a question were presented. Your chosen king wasn't attacked by yours truly here....

Unfortunately the previous President was a community organizer who got quite wealthy during and after his Presidency. As he was not a successful businessman with properties all over the world prior to becoming President your "what if" falls a bit short.

Is there a regulation stating that the crew needed to stay at the cheapest place possible or just that they had to stay under a certain amount? If it is just that they need to stay under a certain amount and they chose a Trump property where is the impropriety?

Being President is very lucrative these days.
The man is working on purchasing his third
mansion and has never been anything but
    a politician.

Did divest or put it into a trust? You know there is no requirement for a President to divest anything he owns and it's only very recently that this has been an issue.

Stupid question, totally off the mark. What's going on in NM and Nev that they went blue? Are they totally overwhelmed by a single city like Ill.?

NV = too many former Cali peeps.

My theory: NM is controlled by two groups, Hispanics in Albuquerque and Natives in the tribes. Both of those groups have rampant population growth and are often on the dole. Perfect Dem voters for sure. Add in the Santa Fe rich (liberals from Cali) and you have a problem.

Not sure about Nevada. I dont set foot in that state as their school districts are not pleasant to deal with, especially Clark County.

The hypocrites never want to discuss their savior unless
it's to bestow accolades for something, like Trump's economy.
Let's not examine how he became fabulously wealthy while
never working as anything but a politician.
