Strongly hinted that electric hybrid AWD capability was built into architecture and future model roadmap. Ala Porsche 918 among others.
Corvettes have peaks and lows: First corvette only had a 6 cylinder, thats a low. 2nd gen had a 427, thats a peak. 3rd and 4th gens were just all lows. 5th gen and LS, peak. 6th gen with non pop up headlights, manual transmissions and 427 LS, literally the peak of everything corvette. 7th gen: ugly. 8th gen: dead to me.
Electric when used to fill in the dips in power delivery isn't all bad. The complexity of those systems when it comes service time is the killer for me.
Never was my cup of tea. I don't find it very nice to look at but then I've never been a Corvette fan beyond the 50's and 60's models.
