I have literally had almost exactly that happen in an interview. She didn't get the job.

 

I posted an add on indeed, had 55 potential employees with in 24 hours. Hired 4 of 'em.

Look into Lockheed Richie.....the plant there in Greenville (Airport) is supposed to be doing well.....I dont think they will come looking for you tho.

LM moved the F-16 line there (new production) from Ft Worth to make room for the F35.......I'd bet Greenville would get F-16 sustainment as well.

Greenville used to be like a "Custom Shop" for us at LM Marietta......they'd do C-130 and P-3 mods.

And that’s the real issue with retiring too soon! You could probably set up a shop at your place and doing welding on the side and work as little or as much as you want. No need to deal with moron co-workers that way.

 

Hell, start glueing random pieces of steel together and call it art. Set up a stand by the road. You’ll make bank and be famous as a visionary folk artiest.
