The dipshit trend finally hit Nashville... Hopefully they can get it under control before the NFL draft comes to town next month. I think there's a marathon going on at the same time as well.

One officer tried to tackle a guy off of his 4-wheeler and wound up being dragged for quite a ways.

Trust me, if they were to try and get in my way, my brakes would mysteriously go out. I avoid dowtown Nashville like the plague though, so I hope to never encounter them.

 

There's a legit feature length Hollywood movie that should be out any day that was filmed last summer. They used them as extras.

It's still happening, but I don't see it like I used to. I'm also not in midtown anymore, and I think they used that area as a regular way to get from East to West and up to the lake where they used to gather.

I think whatever they have been doing to try and stop it is slowly working. Or it's just mostly run its course. There are a couple of guys I see around this new neighborhood a lot.. a guy in a big 4 stroke four wheeler and a guy on something like a kx80. I see them out on rt40 and up and down the street in front of the shop will quite often.

It's been going on for 20 years here. Which is unreal.

 

20 years?? That's a lot of stolen bikes....

 

It took a lot of skateboarders getting arrested and harassed for almost 30 years before towns started to see the value in skateparks. These guys are the bad guys now, but just wait until every major city has a motorsports park in the middle of it.

Worst part about that, watching some other stupidity from Baltimore or somewhere else some of those guys can actually ride well. Amazing bike control and I bet given the right opportunity could go pretty damn quick on a closed course of some sort, most likely road racing.

 

Putting them on TV doesn't help things.
