7-9 inches of rain in I think 30 hours. Everything here including interstates, side roads, houses, farms are flooding. It's freaking crazy scary. Hope anyone else dealing with this is ok.
Floating in NC as well. The pond has a river going in and one coming out which were not there yesterday lol.
I don't know what sort of weather can stop a train, but we're dead in the water just South of Birmingham AL. Just heard there were tornado's spotted.
Showed that to my wife she believed it,so I had to explain it,and draw her pictures n stuff. Blondes!
About the same BS weather in middle Tn, I'm soooo sick of the rain. Kids had no school the last two days because of it.......outbuilding has been on hold for what feels like forever.
Yeah been raining here since oct with a random day of sun here. Feels like Seattle. But damn 9" of rain in 30 hours is brutal. We've had what...5" the past four days? Enough for me. 9" that quick would be brutal.
Sometimes it feels like beating up an 11yo, who is shall we say...on the spectrum....and i feel a twinge of guilt. Then I realize it was just some bad Curry not sitting right in my belly and drop the hammer.
And I thought I had a ruff Wednesday getting snowed into to the Vegas airport over night. I do not miss the rain that always pours in Georgia.
Chattanooga will be getting your runoff in a few hours. I looked at the lake Thursday afternoon and it was about 6' BELOW normal. The river downstream was/is very high (IDK the numbers at the moment).
