Who's running what this year? Haven't heard any news about Danny. As always, I think May will be a top contender if he gets a team together. Cory West? What's up with Barney? Does he have some gas left in the tank? I hear Robby-Bobby might be running with sponsorship from Old English Malt Liquor... Blasius crashed out of 9th last year. He'll be back again this year on a Triumph with a good team. I think M4 might have a few riders, but no announcement yet. If Debise gets re-signed to M4 and they field him, I'm sure he'll be up front. Who else will be competitive? Dunlop seems to be the tire of choice, but the Pirelli seems to be good as well.
Eslick news was on Monday... http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...t-still-looking-for-motoamerica-ride-in-2019/
I wish Moto America and Daytona would kiss and make up. No other track like it and and the Daytona 200 was "Americas Motorcycle Race" for a long time, it would be bad ass to see the MA superbike guys duking it out on the highbanks.
Not a good deal for the teams though. They built a bike and engine for 1 race, and then separate bike(s) for the rest of the season. I love the 200, but it’s a hassle for the teams who are trying to run a whole season.
I agree I'd be awesome. But let's be real there are only about 6 of the superbike guys that'd be checked out on the field. Then you'd have 5-10 guys behind filling if you want to call it that, the field. I wish wera would jump up and do something huge like this.
FYI Mesa broke the absolute track record last year and took it away from West and both were on Pirelli.
Appears Mr. Hayes will be joining the party... http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...s-to-ride-mp13-racing-yamaha-in-classic-race/
Thought about it but a lot of the riders like doing Daytona Saturday then Roebling Sunday. If it weren't so popular even being on St Paddys weekend I'd change it but don't want to mess with what works.
Instagram on both his and her accounts. And this just came out shortly after... http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...s-to-ride-mp13-racing-yamaha-in-classic-race/
