Super Bowl TV ratings were in the shitter too. Guess telling your fan base to fuck off isn't good for business...nor are games decided by zebras.
I am curious to see if a new coach will help but have a feeling it won't until someone else owns the team. In the meantime I'll just hope the Falcons figure out how to play football as well as the individual players are capable of and less injuries.
You heard it here first...Raiders over the Pats 31-28 in the AFC championship game. Raiders beat the Rams 41-24 in Super bowl Liv....
They don't care about attendance, the TV deals and now streaming deals are what matter and they are going up, not down.
I'm curious to see the results of the Raiders moves...mainly Gruden. Some think he's a football genius. I'm not sold. I don't think they'll be a factor next year. Too soon and still building. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to judge his 2020 season. He's now in charge of all personnel as well as head coach. He'll have no excuses for failure and with 3 Drafts and free agency, 3 seasons will be enough to tell the story. My guess, they miss the playoffs this year and are Wild Card at best next.
Chiefs will not win a Super Bowl with Andy Reid...unless they lock him in the locker room the last 5 minutes of every game and let a first year intern manage the clock, because whoever they are, they'd do a better job. Andy can't win close games.
I can’t help but chuckle when I think about it. Imagine actually seeing a team usher their head coach off the field. Cut his mic, and send out the interns to round him up. “Come on, Andy. We have a big snack bowl waiting for you just filled with candy. Atta boy. Come on.”
That is good news. While I have no interest in the game I certainly dont want to see it die. Too many jobs tied up in the game.
