And what is the engine in the lower left corner of image 4? It looks like a longitudinal twin, maybe a Rotax?
He may have disabled it. We have a deposit on the stuff and are going out Monday. If there is something particular you want. Let me know.
But it's not exactly easy to find nice 250s these days so make it an adventure and visit this place after you buy the bike And punch a moose
Wow so many 250 GP bikes for sale these days, just a year or 2 ago I couldn't find one for the life of me, now that I own one, buying one would be so much easier and even have choices. When I bought my TZ I had no choice, it was buy it, like it, or the next guy would.
Same thing happened with my NC30, couldn't find one anywhere. I bought one and another showed up 30 miles from my house for $750 less.
Has anyone tried fitting some sort of gearbox to a jetski engine? I've seen some that make stupid power, just seems like a ton of work.
Not that I have seen.. no reason. When you stand on a modified 3 cylinder or 1200 and go 80 mph plus standing up It is enough..especially when you fall off like I did on one a few years back...
You get on here, and ask a member in the area to scope it out for you. I've actually done that for some people here locally from another forum site.
