That didn't go over well. https://www.newsweek.com/men-are-th...r-metoo-ad-calling-them-be-their-best-1291857
Yeah I'm not going to take any sort of equality lecture from a company that charges 25-40% more for a women's razor than a men's razor, made some of the most sexist ads in history through the late 80's and that has labeled me "toxic"
Comedian Ricky Gervais also appeared to take a jab at the ad, tweeting: "I used to love beating up kids at barbecues. Now I realize that is wrong."
IIRC, it was here on the beeb someone mentioned that they are engineered differently. The woman's blade is made to last longer from what I heard, and their own men engineers buy the women's blade. but yeah #F88kGillette
Actually IMO there is a bunch of companies that have been overrun with people not interested in serving the consumer. This advertisement is incredibly stupid. It might make a few customers happy but is guaranteed to piss off a bunch also. I would fire any company making ads that increases customers by running others off. They have chosen to focusing on saving the world vs making razors.
I stick by mine. They think they are saving the world just as many idiots claim the world is ending etc.
