hey guys Looking for a cheap track bike something slow hahaha. I’m rebuilding my other bike and I know I’m reality if I rush I’ll miss stuff. So I’m just looking for a bike that’s ready just in case. Only looking to spend about $2500 or so give or take. Preferably in the northeast /tri state area
Are you mechanically inclined at all? I have an 06 600rr that was my race bike a few years ago. Haven't started it since the end of 2016 .. . needs fresh gas and a battery at minimum. I'll deliver it to you for the full $3000 I'm asking . . just want it gone at this point
Buddy of mine is selling his 07 R6. It has all the track wants ie suspension/crash protection/exhaust etc. He’s asking $4k which is more than what you mentioned but I think he wants to unload it so you may be able to negotiate pretty well on it. Upstate NY so may be a little bit of a drive.
Roughly where you located ? Mint condition 2004 Gsxr 600 available 350 street miles then 170 track day miles on it . 520 miles only ..clear title kept indoors ...pm if interested..
I’m considering selling my 2001 CBR F4i track bike come spring. Rebuilt title, 10k miles, racetech front, ohlins rear (set up for ~175#), rearsets, shift star, spares, etc. Curret race plastics are from a F4 and are a bit beat, but I’m buying from a friend a set of new F4i track bodywork that I’m planning on swapping on in the next month or so. It was raced by a PO, so I believe it’s all drilled for safety wire. In your budget, and I’m pretty local (New Haven). I’m likely going out to Central PA soonish so I can possibly deliver.

If you did not find a bike yet, I think have a excellent track bike for your price range. It’s a 2001 R1 track prepped, lots of aftermarket parts handles great.
